The AD saying 18K RSVP'd is not them saying that amount of people would show up. It was just an indication of the general interest level; 18K were interested enought that they made the effort to reserve tickets. Athletic events routinely have no shows and for a spring game that # will always be high. You apparently have no clue about what crowd size has been for spring finales at UCLA for the past 10 years bc if you did you would know the turnout was very strong. So yeah, dumb post and judging from the amount of 'likes' my post received, alot of folks feel the same way about your post.
