Rabby, I appreciate your post 100%. Like many posters on here I went to IU, have a lot of friends and family who went to IU and before Curt Cignetti the best IU football I witnessed was under Bill Mallory when I was at IU from 1987 to 1991. We had our moments under Cameron, Lynch, Wilson and Allen and who knows where Hoeppner could have taken us, but no one could have ever predicted that INDIANA would a) win a football NATTY; b) win an undefeated football NATTY; c) win 19 games in a row; d) have the longest home winning streak in the nation. Our coach is 30-2 and other fanbases give us respect. This is what happens when you WIN and beat Alabama 38-3 and Oregon 56-22 on the way to a NATTY. Cignetti has made me want to watch IU football and made me proud to wear IU gear around in the South during college football season. I now dream of back-to-back undefeated seasons ending with a NATTY. If I uttered that anytime before last year people would check my sanity. I am happy amd grateful to finally have a football team in the constant discussion of who can win it all. For OSU fans this is normal, but for me this is a new lease on life and I am enjoying every minute of it.
