I agree that SEC bias exists in the polls, but that’s why the committee waits until November to put out their initial ranking. There’s a lot of football left to be played before that, and they’ve been pretty fair to IU the past couple of years. Ole Miss has beaten two teams that folks think are pretty good, so it’s no surprise that they moved up. Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter that much.
