LOLI mean, it’s a message board ... show more Expressing frustrations about the penalties and overall execution through three games is fine, but the blanket statements about Jeff as a coach are annoying. We have a brand new quarterback, OL, and WR corps running a system with the complexity of an NFL offense. Jeff catches a ton of flack for that exact same reason—because executing such an operation has its drawbacks—and it’s why some of our fans (as well as many Purdue fans during his tenure there) find a way to complain about anything. Running a much more complex, nuanced style of football will never deliver perfect results. Some things to clean up (especially the 15 yarders), but it all comes with the territory.
