Got no problem calling timeout if it’s second and long or especially third and long. But it was second and 7 and there were still 90 seconds left. No idea what the thinking was on trying to call time with 13 seconds left. It was only third down. Bottom line is that considering how badly the first quarter went, they should’ve been thrilled to have a 14-point lead going into halftime, especially knowing they were getting the ball to start the second half. Troy was reeling, but those last 90 seconds gave them a ton of momentum.
