Was the offensive line simply base-blocking as CJB stepped back into the endzone, because he ended up being swarmed. If CJB had been drilled (not "told") to run to the back far corner of the endzone, they could also have drilled the other offensive players to run with him to the same location (less the Center), better isolating him from getting hit. Taking a safety on purpose isn't something you don't often see, but that doesn't mean the situation shouldn't be practiced.
