Overseas game and frustration by Dilly

Aside from the defense playing probably 66% of the second half there was a definite fundamental shift in the pressures and coverages when we went up by 3 scores. I saw a lot of pressures and exotic DL twists with blitzes and coverages in the first half and it had the qb stifled. The moment we scored 24 we went to four base rushers with fewer stunts and a lot more deep coverage to keep things in front, unfortunately the guys looked tired and there was no pressure. Part of me thinks Dilly told Ward to go vanilla to allow them to make long drives and chew clock. This was covered elsewhere. I dont think the intent was ever to let them score, but when they used the TOs early it played into Dilly's strategy. KUs qb had tons of time to throw with linemen and a TE protecting but he also took a good 3-5 seconds on every dropback. Also our punting was pretty good. Lastly the INT did lose net yardage, but it also chewed up more time.
