As for the one bad play I think it indicates a lack of details and discipline and preparation. If you are going to put someone at the QB position who is mentally challenged, call time out and say " hey dimwit, take the snap and take a knee, nothing else". Obviously any 10 or 12 year old in the backyard would know what to do, but I suppose he is tall and ran a fast 40 and coaches think that is deserving of a starting job, so the staff deserves blame in addition to the QB.
