Parker Flemings chart compares the percentage of each team's successful plays. It ignores the explosiveness of the plays. In it, a 10-year run counts the same as a 68-yard punt return, and an incompletion is the same as an interception. The chart really is a way to show that Troy controlled the ball and gained more yards, which are often correlated with winning, but not always. It's a good metric for breaking down why a game evolved as it did, but it's not a defining statistic.
