NIL contract question.
Summary
NIL marketing contracts cannot have performance clauses or opt-out incentives; agents bound by NDAs on specifics.
NWphan76 said... (original post) Another question, I thought of. Is there any language to make sure players don't opt out of games (playoffs or bowls)? show more We've asked those questions of USC and they're pretty coy about NIL in general. Sometimes agents will shed light on things, but there are NDA's that prohibit them from getting too specific. Generally spoeaking, I doubt there would be lanuage pertaining to opt outs because contracts cannot have performance based lanuague in them. These are marketing contracts and not employee based ones. There can be no incentive clauses ect. either that pertain to playing football.
