Got me thinking..
Summary
Practice: Practicing and producing in practice is very important.
Practicing and producing in practice is very important. But I think at any level there are players that may practice well (practice is routine / controlled vs the uncertainty of games), but don’t always carry that over to games. The uncertainty of what happens in a game leads to them not playing as fast as they do in practice. Possibly Guthrie & Charles fit this category. And then there are others that may not always practice well, but when the lights turn on, they find that extra gear and shine. Those are the really tough ones for the coaches.
