It was such a black swan moment that it would be just as embarrassing if he weren't in the hot seat after that performance. It wasn't like it was a fluke with a couple hail marys - they dominated. It looked like they were the Big Ten team and Rutgers was the brand new FBS coming off the 0-12 season. Beat UMASS and lose to BC, and it would have been debatable if he was on the hot seat. He would still have had to get to a bowl game to survive. But lose both? It's as scorching as it can be.
