The announcers in the OSU game said it repeatedly though: once Sark let Arch play his game and “back yard ball” it, everything clicked and Arch looked great. Since we have seen this for years now with different QB’s, I wonder—and I do so fairly—about Sark’s willingness and ability to custom tailor his preferred offense to the skills of his team. At some point, I would rather a college offense that dominates and scores 50 points a game than a bitter insistence on an NFL offense that looks flat out lost from time to time and seems capped at 35 points a game. So I think it is a fair question: if Sark had 2005 Vince Young on this roster, what would he have done with him?
