At Penn State's 2026 Wisconsin-week presser, Matt Campbell said Brock Riker had practiced and that Saturday's handling of him helped put him in position for full-go Tuesday work. Andrew Rappleyea was still limited and questionable despite being at practice; Campbell did not clear him to play.

Campbell said Penn State's Tyler Armstead was questionable after being dinged up against Buffalo. Armstead has contributed heavily on special teams and earned early cornerback snaps through his practice work, but that expanded opportunity was not a declaration of full health or a permanent starting role.

Campbell said Penn State receiver Brett Elskildsen had been limited over the previous two weeks after getting dinged up. He praised the receiver's production when available but gave no return date, diagnosis or assurance of an unrestricted workload against Wisconsin.
