Maybe there are other priorities. Like Wong over Ihaeetau. BYU is strong in LB pipeline. Vakapuna has no rating yet, so perhaps watching LB class for now. Aloisio has a warm rating for BYU, along with UofU and Arizona. That is far from over. Rassmussen is probably a wait and see. BYU likes taller CB's than 5'10. Also he is currently only an 82 rating. Don't see anywhere it looks like we are slipping instate. It seems there is more to this than you are taking into account with your question. Not to mention, if there are out of state higher performing players positionally who would consider BYU, we sure don't want to fill up on 82-86 rated players before knowing their true interest in BYU.
