I know there is a lot of criticism of Gibson, but I watched the past two games videos of the team, and there is definitely unity on this team. And their is pride for the school they play for. I honestly think we will keep getting better as the season progresses. I walked out of PSU and thought 0-3. I really did. I loved watching the post game video in the locker room of this past weekend victory. Winning for Marshall meant something to our players. I think right now Troy is the best team in the conference. I am in a slim minority but I have doubts on JMU being as good as some think. I think they beat us by a slim margin. Again, I might be proven wrong, but I think we go in there with an edge. It stinks Bausley is out for the season. That stinks. His replacement has been good so far. I wish Sweeney's teammate at VMI would have come here instead of going to Maryland and sitting on the bench. He is a good linebacker that could have helped us here. I know it came down to MU and Maryland. But Gibson does a better job in the locker room with adversity than Locksley, who is a head coach that loses the locker room every year. That LB could have helped us if it weren't for Kevin Plank's NIL money. I listened to Judah Price's interview on the coach's show last night. I think Gibson gives us a chance with some in-state kids that might normally overlook us. Payne, Price, Zah, Lewis and Martin have produced so far this year. I would agree though that any thing below 7 wins is an utter disappointment. What happened to Bausley?
