One thought on every Ohio State player after non-conference play
Summary
QB/OL: Sounds like the overall grade for this team’s performances is about a C minus.
Sounds like the overall grade for this team’s performances is about a C minus. We have about four or five guys playing decent. All the rest are eyebrow raising. We absolutely have great coaching talent, I think it’s time for them to get this team working as one. It seems we’ve got a lot of athletic talent, but I don’t sense any great team Innate communication that creates Quicker anticipation when The ball is snapped. When I compare this year‘s team to our national championship team of two years ago, I look at that 2024 team and say, we had a battle tested, very intelligent quarterback, we had two of the best battle tested running backs in the country, we had an offensive line which was matured by the end of that year into being hardened and that thought and played as one, we had the best defensive ends in the business, we had phenomenal, experienced wide receivers, Plus the brightest star on the horizon, we had two of the best linebackers ever, and we had a defensive secondary that had been through the wars together over and over along with the best defensive safety we’ve ever had at Ohio State. And even with all of that, we had to hang on to win both of our last two games. Do I think this year‘s team is in that category? Not even close.
