We have the most experienced QB in the country and he isn't afraid to use many targets. We have an OC not afraid to throw the ball down the field with or without Howard playing. We actually have depth at the position. Sowell, Eskildson, Robinson ... then at TE Brahmer, Rapp (if playing). I think Burkle comes into the equation. He had 52 receptions the last two years before coming to PSU. Wouldn't be stunned to see the RBs get some receptions out of the backfield. That is something they really haven't showed yet. Not saying Howard isn't a loss. That would be ignorant. But for the people saying "season's over" and blaming the staff for an injury that happened on the field ... that is ignorant.
