Steve Sarkisian set out to make the Texas Longhorns more explosive. Through three games, is it working?
Summary
QB/LB: As long as Sarkisian has his team winning, I'm not going to be overly critical of his offensive scheme, though there is a definite pattern to what he wants to do each game.

Reading this article and other posts on the thread, makes me think that the reason why Arch struggles sometimes is because of how much pressure Sarkisian's scheme puts on the QB and his decision making. I don't recall the last time Texas ran a timing pass play (slants, flat, outs), passes that don't require Arch to scan the field, go through a progression and have to make a decision about where to throw the ball. Given how Arch has tended to hold the ball too long (imo) this season, there is coming a game that the other team defense will put non-stop pressure on him and he will have to make them pay by getting the ball out quicker to his playmakers that are in one on one coverage. Like someone else said, I think Arch plays better when he plays quicker. JMO
