READ: How Diego Pavia Has Exposed Selective Outrage in Football
Summary
Diego Pavia enabled Vanderbilt success; without him, Jared Curtis wouldn't have platform for Heisman recognition.
Well said. I wish there were a good way to get this the massive amount of media attention that all the bad-mouthing has received. In the future, be sure to bash any Vandy fans that gush about how great it is to have a QB that doesn't have Pavia's rather minor flaws. After all, if it weren't for Pavia, Jared Curtis would not have come to Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt would not have been successful enough, it wouldn't have had a Heisman finalist (and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner, etc.), and just generally would not have given him (JC) a visible enough platform to showcase his talents. So, in a nutshell, no Pavia, no Jared Curtis at Vanderbilt.
