No. Counter the RB takes a false step in the direction of the downblocks that can give the initial appearance of wide zone. Other gap schemes like Power or Buck Sweep the RBs first steps go in the direction of the run play. Usually in Power schemes the QB reverse pivots out from under Center to create the misdirection (and sometimes extends the ball out in the wrong direction).
