AAU has not added a land grant in over 20 years. Wisky was added in 1900 as well as Cal. Mizzou and Minn were added in 1908 Ohio State was added in 1916 Purdue and Penn State were added in 1958 Michigan State was added in 1964 Maryland was added in 1969 Arizona and Florida were added in 1985 Rutgers was added in 1989 Texas A&M was added in 2001 and was the last land grant added. AAU does not like Land Grant Funding as non Land Grants are not eligible for such funds. The AAU chase turned into a red herring as AAU turned hard against Land Grants as well as metrics that included decentralized - off campus professional programs located in Conservative States.
