(original post) Pressure was definitely a factor, but there are plenty of plays to call out where he had enough protection to make a throw that was schemed open.... show more Wow at 12:00 even though he should have still hit Trech , you’re right Shipp was WIDE OPEN And the one where Shipp flattened the route to mitigate the over top safety help again wide open… You can see Shipp pissed on both jumping up and down with his hands out. Hope as a captain he and the qb meetings reveal how unacceptable this is. Honestly watching these I don’t even blame Mason Humphrey. He’s lucky that one throw to Mason (the one should have gone to Shipp flattened route) wasn’t a pick 6 Dude has one more game to fix this up or they need to make a switch. It’s not normal to let Miles take all the one snaps all spring summer and training camp. It’s not normal for AJs sources to say Billy camp was surprised he won the job. It’s not normal to NOT name your qb captain like Gio was, as a 7th year guy who prides himself on leaderships …. These are all signs to me he came into this with a short leash and we will likely see another qb if this doesn’t improve asap
