SEC Availability Report: Positive update on pair of LSU defensive backs ahead of Texas A&M matchup
Summary
-
LSU cornerback Ja'Keem Jackson is upgraded from doubtful on Wednesday to questionable on Thursday's availability report for the 2026 Texas A&M game. His status has improved, but questionable is not confirmation that he will play; the article gives no snap allocation or new diagnosis.
-
LSU safety Tamarcus Cooley is removed from Thursday's availability report and described as active ahead of the 2026 Texas A&M game. That is a different status from Jackson's remaining questionable designation. The report supplies no new safety rotation, starting change or guaranteed workload for Cooley.
