Put the top 8 brand draws in a division and the bottom 9 in the other division. In year 1, the top brands all play each other with cross divisional matchups to complete schedule with 1-2 OOC. In year 2, you demote a team or two from the premier division to the lower division. Recycle year 3 with a new relegation. It would seem that our ACC schedule would get more eyeballs ... i.e. money to the conference ... and give the chance for schools to invest or just get lucky and raise to the higher division. I always liked relegation as a general idea for NCAA/P4 football, but doing in the ACC helps our strength of schedule issues for our top teams and increases eyeballs for the conference.
