Mississippi Valley's problem is that their football team is not good enough to even be a "sacrificial lamb" team on somebody's schedule. Jackson State, and sometimes Alcorn State will appear on Mississippi State's or Southern Miss' schedule, but the best football program MVSU has ever played was Arkansas State or LaTech. They played Sacramento State last year. I doubt any of those teams offer million dollar pay-outs.
