When Locksley has already taken 100 tests (each game being a test), testing Locksley a 101st time isn't going to provide any new information. Seems like Jim Smith wants him gone and is just waiting for a good time to do it, which makes perfect sense. Our schedule is looking a lot stronger than it was at the beginning of the season. Every team we play will be about as good as VT, or better, except Rutgers and Purdue. If Locksley loses to UCLA or Nebraska and OSU (our next 3 games) I could see Jim Smith firing him. If we lose to both UCLA AND Nebraska and are on a 4 game losing streak hardly anybody will even complain about firing him.
