Staff Picks: No. 3 Notre Dame at Purdue
Summary
WR/LB: I see us winning big…but unless there’s significant personnel changes, I don’t see the running game taking a big step forward.
I see us winning big…but unless there’s significant personnel changes, I don’t see the running game taking a big step forward. Purdue’s running D has some bad numbers, but that’s elevated by UCLA (who has been running all over everybody) and a 44-yard double reverse by a wake forest WR.
Eastern Michigan and Toledo were more effective than us running the ball against MSU, Western Michigan and Houston Baptist were more effective running against Rice, and Western Illinois was more effective against Wisconsin. If ND leans into it’s strengths and puts the same effort in getting greathouse & graham involved as they have in Williams gaining 6 feet, we will be cruising.
