In the Friday 2026 Big 12 opener availability update quoted by 247Sports, West Virginia lists nickel Emory Snyder, running back Andre Devine and defensive lineman Darius Wiley out against Oklahoma State. Wiley's season-ending injury was previously reported; this list gives the game designation for all three without new diagnoses.

The same Friday list marks West Virginia tight end Cam Ball, receiver Prince Strachan and corner Nick Taylor probable for Oklahoma State. Probable updates their game status; the supplied report does not confirm participation, unrestricted snaps or a new injury diagnosis.

West Virginia running backs Martavious Boswell and Chris Talley are also listed probable in Friday's Oklahoma State-week availability update. The designation does not establish that either will play or change Cam Cook's workload.

The Friday report lists Oklahoma State offensive lineman Braydon Nelson out for West Virginia, with lineman Joseph Hanson and defensive tackle Iman Oates questionable. This is newer than an earlier preview's Nelson game-time and Hanson expected-to-play outlook, not a diagnosis or a ruling on Hanson and Oates.

Oklahoma State receiver Chris Barnes, lineman Johnny Dickson III and defensive tackle Braylon Rigsby are listed probable in the Friday West Virginia-week report. Probable is not a confirmed game appearance, starting assignment or full workload.
