The 3-2-1 Column: The first quarter of Pitt's 2026 season
Summary
Pick/market: My guess is that they want to know how many snaps key starters on D can reasonably be counted on to be effective during the rest of the season.

(original post) I don’t really understand why they’ve rotated so little defensively so far. show more My guess is that they want to know how many snaps key starters on D can reasonably be counted on to be effective during the rest of the season. Oline it is pretty much every snap in an ACC game, but on D every guy is different and some guys need more rest than others to play well. Per CP’s data, Jaylen Twyman could and did play nearly the entire game, while we know other DLinemen need to rest for half the plays to be effective. It looks like Sanders used the 1st 3 games to test the limits of some starters.
