That clip of Wilkin reps is seriously one of the sadder things I've seen in a while. Like doesn't even make sense how he's option 1 to start the year. I'll be optimistic for development, but that smells like an incredibly disastrous whiff of an evaluation. And they shouldn't be counting on needing development 3 games through the season at one of the more important positions on the football field after spending 30+m in the offseason. That said, I understand separating the schedule into these two stretches, because they are so different. But end of the day 8-4 is the number for me. To get 6 more wins, they'll still need at least 2 against teams they haven't been able to beat these last few years. I'm probably out on 7, but this would be the most dependent on what the losses look like. They would almost all need to be competitive for me to be indifferent rather than wanting to move on.
