Had the pleasure of having Eget's father sit in front of us today. Once he told me many extended family members were in the house but sitting in other sections, I invited them all to come and sit with us (I have lots of seats in Sec. 26). What a wonderful family. Getting the full unfiltered version of how Eget landed at Duke is truly an incredible story. During a whirlwind 24-48 hour time period when multiple schools were sending planes out to get him to come to campus (including Miami, UVA, and Stanford just to name a few), the family got to experience the craziness of what college football has turned into. Walker turned down better offers from other schools to come to Duke, but he and his brothers (who all played college football) fell in love with Manny and Brewer, especially, while on the visit.
