Unfortunately, with his extension from CFP, hot is likely all it’ll be for 2-3 years. Hypothetically, firing him after the 2027 season would cost approximately $43.5M. If his 2026 and 2027 seasons fall in the 7-8 win range, it will be interesting to see if they fire him or the seat just gets very hot.
