Spring practice is over for Kansas and the players are in their final weeks of weight lifting before the end of the spring semester. The players will get some time off before returning for the start of summer workouts in early June. On the offensive side of the football, it was an important spring for Lance Leipold, Andy Kotelnicki and the staff. The Jayhawks had the first stage of the quarterback battle unfold while it also broke in a big group of transfers at several positions.
Plenty of position battles will go into preseason camp, but there are some early leaders at several spots. Who would win out if the seasons started today? Here's look as KU heads into the summer. But this time, I will refrain from using ORs. Obviously they will show up on the official depth chart but for the purposes of this article I thought it'd be interesting to do one without any.
