Michigan players break down stunning loss to Iowa: 'What we were doing wasn't good enough'
Summary
Pick/market: ANN ARBOR, Mich.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Michigan football team endured a shocking first loss of the season Saturday evening, as the 18th-ranked Wolverines surrendered a 91-yard drive in the final two minutes of the game, losing to No. 17 Iowa on a last-second touchdown pass. The defeat comes despite Michigan leading most of the game, and dominating the yardage and first down departments.
After the game, Michigan defensive tackle Enow Etta, offensive tackle Evan Link, quarterback Bryce Underwood and safety Rod Moore met with the media. They discussed the loss, mistakes made in the game, penalties, the state of the Wolverines, how they move forward and more. See what they had to say below.

On how the team responds
We just got to get back to the drawing board, because Witt always says do more. So whatever we did with this week, obviously it wasn't good enough. So Monday, we got to come back, put our heads down, and just work on going 1-0 next week.
The good things that we did, we got to continue to build on that. And the negatives that we had, we got to keep finding ways to cut it out so we can keep building as a team and push forward. We still got this whole season ahead of us, so we just got to keep pushing forward.
On why the game got away from them
Yeah, I just think we got to execute on all facets. Credit to Iowa, but I think we did a good job stopping the run. We just got to, that last drive, we just got to play smart and just execute on all facets.
Like I said, just what we were doing wasn't good enough, no matter what the stats say, so we just got to come back and build on it.
