This is the valid complaint for today’s game
That said the primary thing I noticed was most of it was the result of one regular mistake
Failed contain
All of the big runs by laghter (or whatever his name was) were the same. Run to the middle of the line where it’s stuffed and bounce it outside. He did it time and again and it worked because of failed setting of the edge
Even on the qb scrambles when there was pressure it was the same issue
That issue was annoying to watch on repeat during this game however it is a very fixable issue. Thankfully the middle of our D Line was stout and we had at least 3 sacks today with a team that is top 15 I read in getting rid of the ball quickly and a mobile qb
Overall this was a very good game and nearly perfectly matched my expectation going in. Just more yards given up than I would have guessed
