I don't really have an opinion on the question that you pose. But I wonder if we had the onside kick to open the second half in mind when making the decision to receive the opening kickoff. Obviously, we couldn't finalize the decision to go for the onside kick until we saw how they lined up. But the coaches could have noticed a tendency when watching game film. If they really did that, it would have been a brilliant coaching move. I hope Jackson will pose that question on Monday...
