Fickell finally got the right coordinators and the talent for them to succeed. Was still very unsure about Grimes coming into yesterday because we never really saw what he could do last year having to work with Carter Smith and Hunter Simmons. Admittedly, came away disappointed after the Notre Dame game, but that's a tough opponent in game 1. To do what he did with a QB that many including myself had gave up on yesterday was special. He's made a believer out of me. Excited to see what he can use from yesterday's game to make the offense more efficient going forward. Tressell was fantastic; on top of just shutting down their offense, we should have had numerous sacks and picks yesterday as well. Schemed perfectly. I would love to see what he could do with some more athletic, speedy players. But he's doing an amazing job with what he has.
