I'll say it again, I didn't really learn much about this team in this one, other than we won almost right at the expected betting line, and honestly, we may have won bigger than that if we had 1 play where our DB's had properly jammed the receivers at the line of scrimmage on that 4th down cover 0 blitz they burned us on. The first quarter looked ugly again, but after that, we basically dominated them. Everyone is going to talk negatively about how we played, but we won essentially at the level we were predicted to, on the road, in Pullman, a place we all know is weird to play at, because of the travel. Give me next week, and let's talk, now that Mahdi is playing, and if Gio is healthy to return, and now that we had 2 other receivers I thought did well tonight in Smith and Spivey gain some much needed confidence. Was it uglier than we wanted it to be? sure....but I don't think this is a finished product, and again, we dominated them in the 2nd half of that game, and it was apparent when Mahdi started running, that things changed significantly. So I didn't learn much more than I already knew. We miss Gio, but we have some players that can step up now, and we need better line play on offense....but we knew that going in. Lets see if we can put together a complete game against a better opponent now, and again, hope we get a little bit healthier, and enjoy some home cooking next weekend.
