Love seeing 99 out there in Purple. This bolsters the defensive front in its rotation where it needs to be. With adequate LB play we can battle with anyone in the conference and it’s great we are jelling right now. Safeties are playing better Merrill is reacting with speed taking a good path to the ball. You have to like the youth movement out there on defense with 52, 59, 51, and 22 on defense. Speer is a player too, but he’s got to get his head examined. Lots of good things happening on defense with this team and I don’t mind winning games 21-14 every week at all!! Go Pirates!!!
