Three things I THINK and Three things I KNOW about Michigan after losing to Iowa: A Brutal Lesson

I agree with you, I came out of this game feeling we’ll be competitive in all of them going forward. A commentator on the broadcast said even Bryce’s throws on misses (incompletions) were accurate. They need to keep cleaning up the penalties, hopefully this is a catalyst as Sam suggested.
I thought the defense was effective when they decided to blitz, like when they brought Bracy on a sprint throigh the middle. That Iowa QB seemed like he was fairly easy to rattle into hurries and mistakes. I’ll bet that Iowa starts to see more pressure against other opponents.
The schedule is a blessing and a curse. The only reason our schedule was viewed as the second most difficult besides OSU, was because they had the more difficult out of conference Big 12 matchup in #4 Texas vs our #11 matchup. After this game, games against Penn State (lost yesterday), Indiana (stuggled with Northestern), Oregon (lost their QB), and OSU all seem like games we can win. If we can go 3-1 in those games, and win the rest, the playoffs seem achievable. Talking heads seem to think there will be a 3 loss team in the play offs this year, we’ll see.
