A few things can be true: – Not sure this is the best camera angle to judge the play. My angle from the press box wasn't the best, either. But it does look like the ball gets to the 4-yard line, which is what he needed to get. I'll try and find a better angle and share if I do. – Drink didn't use his timeouts to save them for later in the game. – I thought it was strange the refs didn't willingly look at it because they reviewed a number of other plays throughout the night, especially given how critical that play was in the grand scheme of the game. – Even after that conversion and State's TD on the next play, Missouri still had a chance to tie/win, with two plays at State's 11-yard line, and came up empty. This probably won't make you guys feel better. But that's my view on it.
