I watched the last quarter of the PDX St vs Weber St game last night. I'm interested in seeing them this season, because as another ITS poster noted, they have former Spartan players and coaches on the staff. And their HC arrived from the D2 level. They earned first their W. On the road too. Congrats to them. Delon Thompson is their main RB. He's a bruiser and tough back. And most importantly, he has great football IQ and a team mentality. The game was knotted at 41 with less than a minute to go. PDX St has the ball at the 45, after an interception and good return. Ran it twice. First run got the ball to the 40. Zero timeouts left. They ran it again. This time, he gets to the 24 yard line. He could have kept going, all the way. Unselfishly, he didn't risk it. So, he ran out of bounds with 2 seconds left. So, great awareness too. They kick the winning field goal. I would really like to see him as a Spartan RB, if he ever enters the portal. He and Bates would be a dynamic duo. https://goviks.com/sports/football/roster/delon-thompson/6756
