Kiper: Vanderbilt lost to Auburn, but safety CJ Heard looked good. He led Florida Atlantic in tackles in 2024 (80). He led Vandy in tackles in 2025 (71). And after nine more on Saturday, he leads the Commodores once more in 2026 (31). Heard can play centerfield or in the box because he's so quick to trigger -- he simply finds the ball. At 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds, he's compact and strong. Heard shows toughness and closing speed, and he's aggressive. I have a fourth-round grade on him, but the arrow is pointing up.
