I want to talk about the offense

One of the things I see strategically is that we almost have to execute perfectly over a long stretch of plays to score. And even then we need some luck. On the second TD drive of the first half, it took 16 plays, 15 of which were runs. Those long drives give a defense a lot of chances to stop us. And they only have to stop us once on third down and the drive is over. Several times in that drive and others, we ran on first and second downs, then on third down MH bailed us out by scrambling for a first down. Then it was rinse and repeat for the next set of downs. That is incredibly hard to sustain all the way down the field. One execution error by one player and it's over. Defenses are going to win that war of attrition over 60 minutes more often than not.
