Davis discovered last week that those plays are actually in the playbook, and are the best utilization of Speedy instead of between the tackles where the RB is usually hit in the backfield. Ditto Donelson, even though he doesn't have the break away speed. The sack numbers are an operation of Mandal. Keene would have been sacked at least 6 times by Hoser. If that makes me a "doomer" than so be it. I prefer to think I'm just realistic about the current state of the OL. Just hope we don't lose more bodies, but instead get some back, and can at least take baby steps of improvement.
