I’ve seen enough from Fitzgerald after 4 games…
Summary
Injury: I guess as good of a place as any for my thoughts on just finishing watching the whole thing, as I was in and out taking in my first SEC experience.
I guess as good of a place as any for my thoughts on just finishing watching the whole thing, as I was in and out taking in my first SEC experience. Injuries have probably already derailed this thing. The officiating could easily be the difference in the game yesterday. You simply can’t call defensive holding that happens pretty much exactly as the punt in deflected. 6-0 or 10-0 becomes 3-7 2 plays later on another arse call. The “at least he isn’t Chiles” honeymoon seems to be well over if the game thread is to be believed. On that, AM was not good, made a couple plays that killed us, but I ask what happened to all the quick dink and dunk routes from the first couple weeks, with at least 2 guys short as options. It seems like that has been abandoned. In particular the cuteness every time we got to the 30, which was quite a few times, making us settle for long FGs. Seeing much of the game without the heat of the moment, we kicked their arse in the 3rd quarter, much of it without Hall, and had 3-0 to show for it. The kids were still playing, even after the AM fumble, but the Savory overturn and missed FG was the “death nail”. So, for that I can support the OP here. Side note, Patterson needs to be the guy at RB unless there is somebody we haven’t seen yet because Parrish couldn’t find a hole if one was sitting on his face.
