I hate NIL and instant transfer for several reasons. The main one is the idea that a couple dozen $$$ schools will just buy teams. There is one counter to that. It’s very difficult to buy depth to the extent that top teams traditionally have had. The lesser teams have never had much depth. But today almost nobody does. As especially at QB because the $ difference between starting and backup is just too great.
