Looking for an explanation
Summary
Offense: Sooo I have been asking for the reason WN has been completely overlooked and not considered a viable option to this mess that is JM.
Sooo I have been asking for the reason WN has been completely overlooked and not considered a viable option to this mess that is JM. I again would like for someone, anyone, that actually attends practices, to explain what WN is specifically doing in practice to eliminate him from any shot at competing for the starting job.
1. Is he inaccurate?
What I have seen he has a strong arm and in the weeds definitively shows of and accurate strong arm.
2. Does he not know the offense?
How could he not after 2 years unless he is just stupid in which case why would he be on the squad?
3. Is he just not a leader?
Refer to 2 above. How could he be getting a check if so?
4. Inability to read defenses?
Couldn't be worse than JM
5. Turnover problems?
Refer to 4 above
6. Not mobile enough?
Based on In The Weeds he appears to be mobile and clocked a 22mph in practice I read. He is also 6'6" and 230lbs. Throw him and two 230 RBs at these defenses and see what happens.
I have been all in on WN getting a shot since the Michigan debacle and have been beating that drum and asking for answers with standard responses of "the staff feels JM is their best option. So I ask again why specifically?
