Brent Venables was an assistant coach for a very long time. Was he interviewed for several jobs while he was a DC at Clemson? Did he turn them down or was he never offered? We all wanted a dominant defense and now weve had it two or three years running now, but we have to score. Even when we had Lebby, somehow, despite all the numbers we put up, the offense still figured out a way keep us from winning. During interviews, are you asked about your offensive philosophy? Lastly, his in game decision making has been the complete opposite of Stoops....and dare I say Riley. Poor clock management, poor decision making on when to kick vs when not to. Do we honestly feel hes making good decisions at QB? At OC? It feels like it is coming at him too fast during the game and he panics........weve seen it several times.......terrible clock management, terrible in game decision making. As a commander, you are responsible for everything the unit does and doesn't do, good and bad. BV is responsible for the offense, not BA. All decision fall at his feet. FBA
